Acupuncture and dry needling

Acupuncture and dry needling sessions in your own home. The practitioner first assesses where the pain or tightness is, explains exactly what they will do, and uses sterile single-use needles opened in front of you.

Who it's for

  • People with long-standing tightness in the back, neck or shoulders
  • Athletes and active people with tight, tired muscles after training
  • People on a rehab programme after a sports injury
  • Anyone who wants extra support alongside physiotherapy

Common questions

What is the difference between acupuncture and dry needling?

Acupuncture is a traditional practice that uses set points on the body. Dry needling targets tight knots inside the muscle itself and is often part of physiotherapy and sports rehab. The practitioner will explain which suits you.

Does it hurt?

The needles are very thin. Most people feel light pressure or a brief twitch in the muscle. Tell the practitioner if anything is uncomfortable and they will adjust.

Is it suitable for everyone?

Not always. Before booking, tell us about pregnancy, blood thinners, a bleeding disorder or diabetes, so we can check it's right for you or suggest another option.

Is this the right care for you or your family?

Send us the details on WhatsApp: who it's for, what's needed and when. We'll suggest the right care and confirm the price before anything starts.
